Hi so sorry I've not been around but have been mad busy. I recently did a Hels weekend with my local group the jollie Stampers and it was amazing. So so good to see all my dear friends, it felt like my little private get together.
There was Sue ( trouble follows me, I'm jinxed, ) Tucker, Jane( newly grunged ) Telford, lovely Jane, MOira, SArah catspurr curl , Paddy( yes the paddy), KAth mucky paws, Lisa ( stop phoning her work) DUffthe wonderful hosts JOan TUrner and her daughter RAchel who now has a new auntie ( me) cos I love her so much . The of course our very own Hels( strictly springy co..,) Sheridan I will post pics of the work.

Evening all, just executed my first portrait in 10 years, executed is the right word. I always always ran away from life drawing but for some reason I like this one. It's been a hell on earth week and I feel totally chi axed spending 30 mins drawing. Hopefully tomorrow we will have heat, water and gas, oh to have hot food, hot water and be warm. Let me know what you think, I am going to thrash this out with paint now. That's why I took the pic lol
Hi all sorry it's been a while but really busy. Today I went to The Stamp Pad and did an AMAZING GOTHIC CLOCK with the very talented and super nice guy Andy SKinner. I learnt so much and can't wait to pass all this on to my students, really was amazing. This clock was made using a special TAndo kit and paint effects and card and paper, it really was brilliant to be able to use pard and card and paint and create work that looked like it had rusted and decayed for years. THe STamp PAd is A MUST VISIT SHOP and Gwen isn't bad lol( she is so very funny and really lovely, so so welcoming, such a lovely woman) I can't recommend it enough. It was brill and I met some lovely ( very talented ) people and I can't wit to go back. 
DT work used pro markers and paint pens and crafty emblies bits. Not something I usually do but really loved it.
whats the reason, well there's a few, it's to make them less precious and be aware of how people persevere. One student Sonali said, " makes you glad to have hands" all of them were really pleased with their results, I was too. They came out appreciating what they can achieve rather than being negative about what they can't achieve. I am really lucky.

Using Sheenas stamps, really atmospheric
These are a few of the tags I have done for the Amazing Chocolate Baroque tag swap. 
This is for a challenge over at VIntage ELusions, men and machines, I have used stamp addicts leonardo stamps ( fantastic assortment of different a6 collage stamps). Hopefully it represents a page from his journal or notebook. He wrote backwards to lessen the chance of people copying. But although he was an amazing man, many of his " inventions" we're in fact developments from contemporaries or predecessors. Please leave a comment, I know it's a bit raw but I limit myself now otherwise I Suzee ( Phaf) lol

now here are some starting backgrounds in their sketchbooks using the DR techniques
I also had to do a tag for VI tage eluSions craft so I decided to emboss a background using a folder then ink it, spray it and then dry brush it with gold paint. I used tattered floral die, then cut book page flowers then using inkylicious stamps I stamped the flowers in alternate colours onyx versafine, sepia versafine etc then a wait for it .........crafty emblies cog, dress form stamped with same ladies face from inkylicious and swan wings from crafty emblies. Flourish is th too. Love it sorry to seem arrogant but it really is a monty python steam punk moment. Let me know what you think apart from the sad lonely and pitiful negative person.
