This is my crafty embelies steam punk piece. I was given a small set of stamps by Ali craft to play with and I bought the papers to match.

Morning, I was at the Leigh show with Freema, jane T and Jo. I was so hot I was literally dripping lol. Anyway many of you will know the brill Ali- Craft. They stock some of the more different stamp sets that really appeal to me. Ali gave me this little stamp to try, so I made this with it. I used the papers that go with the stamp and the embellishments are from Craft Embelies.

I did a great course at jewellery maker tv Redditch yesterday, unfortunately Debbie Bulford was ill but Hannah stepped in. We went from all the basics, it's good to go through this as you forget things and get into bad habits. We created gelly rolls, canes spirals and kalideascope canes, we built sectioned, inserted and created pieces, and ended with creating  pieces as jewellery. These are all the goodies I came home with, now for the next course. Also i will selling my pieces not the dichroic as these are my test pieces, but other gem stone jewellery. I am on tour with Indigo Blu and kay halliwell sutton tomorrow in clitheroe, will meet some of my good muckers, Joan t and Freema. Will blog pics of the day. Thanks for having a look see. Lou x

I am in a group called JOLLIeStaMpers this is what I made using empty cello tape rolls, loo rolls and cardboard circles. I limited myself to only 4 coordinated papers. I cut loads of paper flowers so I used some of them for cards

And here are the fruits of my labour. They need trimming and filing a little but really happy with them and only broke 3. I wouldn't have broke any if I had been patient.

This is for my next meeting with the JoLLi StaMpeRs. I am mould making from some original Art deco buttons and also the brill Suzie Weinberg loaned me some of her original pieces to take mould from when she was last over here. I am then making resin plaster casts for embellishments for our next meeting in September. If people would like to join the group ( gtr Manchester area) please contact me for details. I will show the results later.

The challenge is to create a sewing themed house/box.

Here is a piece of work inspired by the steampunk stamps from the wonderful chocolate baroque. I was bored so a certain lady sent me away to punk something.  The work was inspired by another piece I did with Lynne RH. All the amazing embellies came from Craft Embelies 

The faces I made using resin plaster from Paperartsy. 

As I get to know this blogging stuff I will do or try to do all the fandangled things you all do.
